Ferulic Acid

Stabilises the Vitamin C and extends its effectiveness throughout the day. Also works as an antioxidant, neutralising the environmental triggers like sun exposure, pollution and oxidative stress that cause the skin to overproduce melanin in the first place. It doesn't fade marks directly. It stops new ones from forming.

Rosehip Oil

Worth knowing

How long before I see results?

Results depend on the depth and age of the marks, but most people notice a visible difference between four and eight weeks of consistent use. Tone evening takes longer. The serum works gradually by design. More aggressive formulas promise faster results but often irritate the skin into producing more melanin, compounding the problem. Consistency matters more than speed here.

Can I use this if I have active breakouts?

Yes. The formulation is gentle enough for daily use during a breakout. It won't clear the breakout itself but it works on the marks before they fully form, which means starting early gives the serum more to work with. Apply after cleansing, avoiding any open or broken skin.

Should I use this morning, evening or both?

Both morning and evening. If your skin needs time to adjust, start with evenings only and build from there.
